Our Mission

Our mission is to promote, support, and commit to a permanent reconciliation in the South Kivu of East Congo such that all people will learn to live in harmony, with the goal of making it safe and possible for repatriation of millions of refugees living in camps around the world.

Our Vision

Our vision for the South Kivu area of East Congo is filled with hope for the future of the people living in the Minembwe area, and eventually beyond. We strive to create

  • A God-filled place where people will live, work, and play together in peace as they learn to forgive and reconcile after decades of tribal conflict.
  • A stable future where people are healthy and safe and find hope for a sustainable livelihood through training, education, and humanitarian aid.
  • A unified homeland where people live and flourish in Christian harmony and fellowship and where displaced persons can return.

Our Approach

We treat all tribes equally in our reconciliation work to heal those impacted by decades of violence and turmoil. To do this, we work with a team of committed Congolese leaders from each of the tribes led by Pastor Joseph Harera, to bring the four warring tribes together to heal and reconcile.
